Thank you for taking the time to comment. As you mentioned, at Sikich we truly care about our employees and want each person to succeed. Our people are, by far, our most important asset. Certainly, as with most jobs, some degree of stress is to be expected, but we work hard to ensure that it is minimal and that each person has the flexibility and tools to flourish while maintaining positive mental health and engagement. Thank you again!

Pros

- Flex time - It's a good idea. - Some of the people there are nice to work with. - Remote options are available.

Cons

Stay far away from the Akron office as an employment choice. Turnover and expectations are very high. I'd also recommend to current and potential employees to put in a request to work at another office. -A reason why the turnover rate is very high in that office is due to employees being unappreciated, underpaid and the required work load is extremely high. -Staff is pushed to the point of burn out. The management and HR has shown multiple times it doesn't care. I know I and several past employee have brought the issue up upon our exit interviews. -New staff and employees don't receive proper continual training and feed back. - Managers are too busy. They are overworked and can't seem to keep any new hires in this position. Existing ones seem to be working 70+ weeks during busy season. - They don't seem open to communication or recommendations from staff. Multiple busy seasons - Instead of a 3 to 4 months of a "busy season", it's likely 6-8 months due to timing of client work and management. Expect managers to sit on work and expect longer hours at deadlines due to this. Non-Office Specific items - Benefits seem poor compared to other employers. The insurance cost is much higher than my current employer, but seemed okay for a single person. I've heard several other of their other employees with families complain about the costs. Culture seems better in other offices. I have friends I went to training with that have had good experiences.
