Supervisors are not able to actively engage in their designated duties on the production floor, as they are increasingly occupied with other organizational functions such as Human Resources, Quality Assurance, and Safety. These additional responsibilities have become sizable commitments that potentially detract from their ability to oversee daily operations on the production floor. The situation is adversely affecting both the workforce and the productivity figures. Supervisors are actively exploring alternative employment opportunities, while morale among employees has reached an unprecedented low. It remains uncertain whether this situation is part of a strategic plant management plan aimed at bringing in external talent. This plant is going to go through more changes soon.
