Cons
The training is only FOUR days than you are on the floor! It might not sound that bad but training is VERY in depth! The interview will be with two people who will also train you as well. They want to know what you want to do in life, why you think you'd be good at the job, your experience and etc. The hours are from 9-6 and you get two days off in a row. I was referred through a staffing agency and what I can say is that they are hiring ASAP! I was called in to start three days after I interviewed. During the interview you will also be asked to write an email telling a customer that you apologize but there was a delay in their order. SimpliSafe is a self installed alarm company (with NO cameras) Training is basically learning about all of the components and what they do. They will breeze through training so please make sure to pay attention. Your probationary period is 60 days. IN ORDER TO BE SUCCESSFUL: YOU WILL NEED TO KNOW EVERY SINGLE COMPONENT AND HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT EACH! This is an open call center environment. Once you go through your training, you will be placed on a team sitting next to a lead. Your team will also have a supervisor on it as well. Pay is every two weeks. Since they BREEZE through training, they basically want you to put the customer on PAUSE everytime you have a question that you cannot answer on your own .. FRUSTRATING! (Hence, why training should be longer.) Anyway, if you need something to get you by than by all means. Your hourly rate will never go above $13/Hour. The phones go live at 9 AM and you must be clocked in by then. If you learn quickly - have a customer service background - like to speak to clients who have been waiting on the phone for 20 minutes - and can enjoy a beer every Friday than this job is for you. Like the title says , to each their own. E-mail them they are hiring.
