      No direction, no transparency, no tech experts

      Pros

      Start up atmosphere, and a few really smart people to learn from. The job moves really quick, forcing you to learn new platforms and technologies. Relaxed atmosphere, and stocked break room.

      Cons

      No direction as a company. They have made several big swings in management and focus, but it doesn't seem like its been done with any major goal or consultation from anyone in the tech industry, they are trying to compete in an industry that they know nothing about. Feels like management is just hoping to score big with a buyout or seed money. Tons of VPs and upper management with titles that don't mean anything. Good luck getting any answers about the direction of the company from management Job security is a huge problem if you work here. Entire sections of the company just shut down without notice, no guarantees of having a job a week after you are hired.

      Truthfully I can understand your frustration and serious critique. With that being said, I can only assume you were on the team that was discontinued when we decided to focus 100% on SF. There is a lot of things we can do to improve as a company, however I feel your perception and view of Simplus would be much different if you were still with our company today. We will continue to do our best and hire incredibly talented employees and let them know how much we appreciate them. Thank you again for your feedback

      Pros

      I have been able to learn incredible new skills that have added great value to my long term career. There are many opportunities to increase my skill set through training and challenging new projects. The leadership is a growing team of very skilled entrepreneurs and seasoned technology professionals. The executive team is willing to invest time and money into the company to help us grow to the next level. There has been incredible growth over the last year and this year has the trajectory to be far superior than the last. PTO is solid and management is very willing to work with you on an individual basis to make sure your personal needs are taken care of. Pay is way better than my last job and I have a solid and clear path to increasing my income. They offer salary increases if you get specialized certifications that they will help you train for. Benefits are also provided and are very fair. Office culture is fun and focused on finding ways to serve. People get along very well and everyone is willing to lend an extra hand to complete projects. This is especially helpful because of how fast the company is growing and hiring. All of the resources that are needed for success are provided. Just moved into a new office and things are pretty awesome here!

      Cons

      Super fast paced environment with a lot of new projects. Challenging to hire the right people quick enough. There are many specialized positions that need to be filled and it can be a challenge to find the right skill set and the right cultural fit. Work-life balance can be achieved and is usually very good. At times there is a lot of extra work to be completed. Management has been hiring a lot and things have been smoothing out. I only see it getting better from here out but there are definitely long days even though they are getting to be fewer and fewer.
