The best pro has to be the dress code... as jeans works any day of the week! Also got a bonus once?

Cons

If you're looking for a place that's no fun to work at, where there's no focus on career development and the culture is terrible, look no further, Sims is the place. Conditions are particularly rough in the NY corporate office, having visited there on occasion. People there seem to blame HR, which is not very well liked and has sparred with other global leaders in the organization.

Pros

The work was straight forward and pretty much independent. The supervisors worked with their subordinates when it came to scheduling conflicts. That was nice.

Cons

Company keeps the owners of small companies acquired on staff and they on look out for their own interests and not the companies. They are essentially above the company law that everyone is suppose to abide by. Untouchables!

Pros

Overall, people were good and open to change. There are a few good gems. There are offices with great localized culture.

Cons

Every site and manager had a different method of approach. At times drastically different than the overall culture of the company. There was no continuity of a single management culture or actual management training program that would allow employees to move up from within and help current managers better manage and lead their team.
