Pros

Solidarity among non-managers Culture of improvement among photogs Able to learn, improve and grow Sinclair's "artistic" style look great on reels and resumes NPPA station, Chief Photog is regional NPPA lead for the East coast Top stations.

Cons

Pay is significantly lower than the competition, by at least $10/hr. Numerous jank stories with 0 or near 0 journalistic merit. Usually short staffed, low retention time. Most people stick around for about 2 years. Corporate is also short staffed, and will borrow photogs from WBFF to make corporate pieces. No bonus compensation for it, they just do it Baltimore is a flagship; corporate pitches come down often and made reporters do the stories they want. Occasionally, even beyond pushing narratives. Ex) We put a hanger on blast because a Sinclair executive's plane got broken into.
