      Pros

      Engineering is top class, product very good, job offers many interesting and challenging problems.

      Cons

      Compensation is just okay. Stock options have little value at the comment and the future trajectory of the company is not clear either.

      Plenty of areas to grow. The tech stack is good. Lots of skilled engineers to learn from.

      Sudden changes in product specs but that comes with working in enterprise tech

      I joined SingleStore because I believe in the company's mission and I'm very impressed by the technology and people I've met so far. Having one real time database that can handle everything -- transactions, analytics, and (vector) search, is a game changer -- especially for all the cutting edge AI applications on the horizon. Exciting times!
