Pros

Nice cars, occasional company dinner.

Cons

Not even sure where to start. Just by reading these reviews, I must giggle! It's very obvious that multiple reviews (all in same day or day apart) have been written by nobody else but Sixt management or corporate. Would not be surprised if writing positive reviews is HR's task now! Sixt is a horrible company to work for. They sell you this big picture, but will burn you out! You will work ridiculous hours, your phone will constantly ring, no work/life/balance, employees are unhappy, corporate office specializes in rumors, upper management is unappreciative and deceiving.....Hope this helps!

Thank you for your review. All feedback is important to us and we encourage you to contact the HR team for a feedback interview, so we can learn from your experience to improve our employee satisfaction. To really help understand where we need to improve, we would love to hear from you to learn in which area of the company you have worked. Furthermore, as a company, we strive to be as transparent as possible, which is why our HR team and management team has encouraged employees to leave reviews here on Glassdoor. However, the reviews you find here are not written by company officials--they all come from anonymous employees. In addition, every quarter we evaluate our employee satisfaction. Currently, Sixt USA is rated very positively by a vast majority of our workforce. In our intranet, every employee can review our current satisfaction score, and the anonymous feedback given during our reviews is seriously considered to improve our workplace.

Pros

The Atlanta team is amazing. The other rental agents are very friendly and work together well while maintaining professionalism. The branch manager is a very hard worker and truly goes the extra mile to motivate his team and create such a professional and well-oiled machine. The staff in the garage works very hard and communicates with the counter well. Overall, each part of the team, from the branch/fleet managers to the garage and counter, is very influential and create a fun yet hard-working environment. Because the company is so new to the US, there is a lot of room for growth. Promotions come quickly to those who deserve them and there is instant gratification of the impact that you can have on the company with hard work and customer service skills.

Cons

The hours can be long and the shifts can be inconsistent. You work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays since we are open 24/7. With those hours of operation, the changes in the schedule and working holidays is to be expected, but the branch manager does a very good job of being fair with the schedule. The cars we have vs. reservations in place don't always match up, so it is hard to keep people happy if you don't have what they want. On the bright side, it's great to make people happy with complimentary upgrades or discounts on upgrades that they wouldn't know we have otherwise.

Pros

Working here at the Seattle branch is high energy, and fun. We are a team, with everyone working together to help make our branch grow and be more established in our area. We have the opportunity to grow and take on more responsibility individually, and as a group. The manager is very positive and encouraging to all of our staff, and helps push us in the right direction. She is a leader and always looks for ways to support her staff. This company is quickly growing in Seattle and all across the nation, so we have many opportunities to grow and acquire job skills that are relevant to the industry. As for scheduling, The manager is willing to work with you if you have children or have plans outside of work. We have good medical coverage and paid time off.

Cons

We work weekends and some overnight shifts, which is to be expected with a company that operates 24 hours a day. The space is limited in our branch so we have to work closely with other companies.
