Pros

The people. Hands down the best group of people I've ever worked with. So much room for career growth. In this small company, you can take on new roles and opportunities that you likely wouldn't be offered in an enterprise-level company. You absolutely can make an impact on the company if you desire to do so. It's still young and finding its way as it grows. Management is willing to listen to solid ideas for improvement, even if they can't act on them right away. Leadership is quite transparent, approachable, and takes feedback seriously. The IT department director (Ed) is fair, honest, always willing to listen to feedback or problems, and genuinely cares about each member of the team as an employee but also as a person with a life outside of work as well. Work/life balance is good, especially for a company this size.

Cons

Still working out some kinks in structure, processes, etc. Can be frustrating at times. Little budget for company-sponsored professional development.

Pros

SkuVault has tons of potential as it enters the next phase from it's startup roots. The CEO is a terrific leader and a genuine guy. Having worked at times with every department, I found management to honest, reasonable and open to listening. I've had excellent opportunities for advancement and growth throughout my tenure at SkuVault, and all of my training and certification has been paid for by the company. While the nature of the work in an ever changing Agile environment (the dev department, at least) can be chaotic at times, SkuVault has been overall the best job experience I've had.

Cons

Dealing with old tech debt Chaotic nature of some of the work Growing pains as new processes are being implemented A small group of questionable hires early on in the company expansion (that are no longer with the company)

Pros

Finally working for a company that truly cares about their clients and employees, versus the usual corporate jobs where to management you are typically just a body. Everyone in the company, from sales, to client relations to the development teams truly care that the customer experience is important as that will allow our company to grow. The executive team and management is always willing to help the employees be successful from the CEO to directors to managers. They always have your back and help you in being successful. Plus due to the company being on the smaller to medium side there is always something new and different to work on, which is challenging but rewarding.

Cons

Since we are a medium size company and we are growing there are some growing pains as far as what's up next to work on, but since we are agile it allows us to shift in different directions if needed pretty quickly and seamlessly. Personally I don't enjoy the location of the company as it's a bit of a drive from where I live.
