Pros

They provided lunch once a week, the location was in downtown Sacramento, and dogs were allowed.

Cons

* Significantly below market compensation * Career Advancement is only available if you stroke your manager's and CEO's ego * Company resources and marketing is around selling the CEO; not the services * Most of the benefits offered were either nerfed or outright eliminated before they became available to the employees * More than 40 men to a single toilet * Inadequate development hardware * Culture which encourages intra-office theft of hardware and working materials * Refuses to migrate to modern architectures and engineering practices * They don't innovate: they steal ideas from other companies. They've been sued for this multiple times. * Inside the company customers were viewed as a joke to be mocked and ridiculed. This was from the lowest support person through the CEO.

Thank you for your candid feedback and I am sorry you didn't have the best experience here. I want to be able to address all your points as many things have evolved since. Market compensation: we recently implemented a pay philosophy that ensures everyone is paid fairly and at market compensation (based on market data from a third party) and now you can have this discussion with your manager on a semi-annual basis. Career advancement is left to the employee to determine their trajectory and we do everything we can to get them there. For Marketing, the other services through the CEO are there to work in tandem with our transaction management platform and ultimately propel our growth as a whole. As for benefits we have a best in class package, so this review may have been before, now we offer medical, dental, $100 wellness reimbursement, 401(k) matching up to 4%, 3 weeks PTO, 15 paid holidays, birthday off (plus $100), lunches 3 days a week, free books and more. As for the toilet, I can agree with you, but since then we have relocated offices and can say we have multiple stalls now, which is definitely a relief to many including myself :) As for hardware, every developer is provided with state of the art machines that are customized and adequate for all needs. Engineering practices are also very innovative as we are in the cloud and always looking for the best technologies to implement. As for our customers, I can say that we are obsessed with them and it shows through our recent best customer service award through nicereply, it is also one of our values. But at the end of the day you are entitled to your opinon and I am taking this feedback to all parties mentioned to ensure we take something from it and look at improving any areas we can.
