Great intentions but going downhill

Pros

One of the few software opportunities in the north valley. Lots of really good people working in the trenches, trying to do what is right. Covered parking. Discounted hotel rates for Choice Hotel properties.

Cons

Company is divided between two CEOs (Technology reports to Choice while Sales/Marketing/Operations and Customer Experience report to SkyTouch) - leads to an "us/them" mentality. SkyTouch executive leadership is very disfunctional and petty which is why so many experienced people have been leaving. No career growth opportunity unless you are on the Technology side. Benefits and onsite company perks have really gone downhill or simply been discontinued.

"Great place to work"

Pros

The company ensures that their employees have a great place to work. They bring in a food truck every other Wednesday and subsidizes the employee for part of the meal. The breakroom has video games, air hockey, foosball table and they the soda/water machines are a dime. They offer a fitness subsidy to promote a healthy lifestyle. The Executive Team holds a monthly town hall to let the associates know where the company stands. After the monthly meeting they either host a social hour or a catered lunch. They recently held a free company event at the Diamondbacks game and they paid for our families to attend. SkyTouch is a fast growing company and in my point of view a fantastic company to work for.

Cons

None that really stand out

SkyTouch Technology Response

We appreciate the positive response! Our bi-weekly (subsidized) food truck visits, catered lunches and end-of-day social events are definitely a hit with our employees along with our bi-annual employee events, like the recent Diamondbacks game for coworkers and families. We're ready to host our first bi-annual 'Take Your Dog To Work Day' and everyone is quite excited. We encourage the continuing feedback and offer an open-door policy to discuss issues and concerns.
