Pros
Somewhat stable environment as far as job security, but not much more than that.
Cons
Lower than industry standards pay. One director is managing 20 direct reports and afraid to relinquish any authority. Upper management never expresses appreciation for all the hard work. But, I am sure their HR will respond and say, "we pay what the industry pays" ..I dare you to check how many employees are leaving due to low pay.
