Pros

Salesforce Parent. Will have direct lines to salesforce Account Executives, Senior Leaderships and Deal Cycles.

Cons

Less resources and analytics than parent company. Ratio from AE to Solutions Engineer is disproportionately rationed.

Pros

The people, benefits, and pay are great. Address a wide variety of use cases on a very popular app.

Cons

Salesforce culture is aggressive and you need to be careful to avoid people taking credit for your work. Management changes things change constantly in ways that seem to make no sense and will often drop huge changes without warning. Slack leadership has all but been eliminated and we're now just another Salesforce specialist group.

Pros

Slack fostered a highly collaborative and inclusive culture, where employees were empowered to innovate and contribute.

Cons

Slack prioritizes thoughtful customer engagement, but after the acquisition by Salesforce, it felt like profits targets became the driving force, sidelining what made the company unique.
