      Great Firm with with a very unique culture and tremendous opportunity

      Pros

      The firm has great clients, great projects, and our consultants really are passionate about building one of the best consulting firms in the industry. Also, while there is a focus on business success, the firm is very fun, social, and I really believe almost everyone here has strong friendships with co-workers. The local model really helps foster this. Also - the firm has strong leaders who care about the consultants in the firm.

      Cons

      The firm is growing very fast, with that growth, people have to be OK with change. Also - we really empower people to build and try new things...again, change is going to happen in a company that is never satisified with the status quo. Communication is something that is always an area that could improve as we move from a smaller to a bigger company.

      Pros

      The flat organizational structure affords you all the opportunity you are looking for. There isn't a lot of office politics, and if you see an opportunity they allow you to go for it! You have to take responsibilities for your own success, so if you have an entrepreneurial spirit there isn't a better place to work! They have taken a vested interest in offering training, but it's not made mandatory. They do a great job with events outside of the normal work day and spare no expense when it comes to pampering their employees. The company has continued to invest in the company even during the economic slowdown and are well positioned to grab market share when things pick up.

      Cons

      The flat structure isn't for everyone, so if you aren't willing to take some initiative you can feel lost or left out. At times it seems as if there are mixed messages coming from management. Different leaders take on different pet-projects, so priorities often get reshuffled with no clear sense of direction or strategy
