Pros

Many of the people who remain are truly good people, but culture champions and capability leaders have mostly departed in the last 2 years.

Cons

Insulting merit raises, no COLA increases, and limited promotions. Health benefits are getting more expensive with less coverage (such as no longer covering any GLP-1 products) and higher deductibles.

Pros

Lots of promises of a good future

Cons

Lots of talent exit, people aren’t wanting to deal with Slalom’s shortcomings any longer.

Pros

You get what you negotiate so the rates are competitive.

Cons

-I ignored the warning signs and accepted a role here despite the negative reviews. That was a mistake. If you’re considering joining, take the feedback seriously. -During onboarding, I noticed several employees leaving. That alone should have told me something was off. Once inside, it became clear that work is not steady. Engagements end and, unless you are closely aligned with the right internal network, your position feels uncertain month after month. There is a constant sense that your job could be cut at any time. -The company continues hiring as if there is an abundance of work, but that has not matched reality. I witnessed multiple individuals being laid off, and eventually my turn came as well. -Another concern is how resources are staffed. Employees are encouraged to accept technical client work outside their actual skill set. That might look good on paper, but it sets people up to fail. When clients realize the expertise is not there, the consultant is released. That is not an individual failure. It reflects poor leadership decisions and weak resource planning.
