Pros

Genuinely nice people, variety of projects, party culture if you want to find friends at work

Cons

Seriously silly promo process that requires every employee to own large internal projects that end up being vanity projects solely for promotions and waste everyone else’s time. Very popularity based: old boys culture - some of the people in leadership were such a joke it was hard to take levels seriously when alll that mattered was tenure. Lastly, bonuses were a scam. You could work 300 hours more than someone in a year and get $2k for that, not worth it.

Pros

Strong culture of support and inclusion in some offices. Smart and talented colleagues. Slalom doesn't hire fresh college grads, so we only work with experienced professionals.

Cons

The move away from consultants working primarily in their communities has taken away much of what made Slalom different from other mega consulting firms like Deloitte and Accenture.
