Pros

Compensation is average, work/life balance is pretty good and reliable. Owners are great.

Cons

- Company requires you to use PTO during annual Christmas shutdown (usually 5-6 days) - C-level is dysfunctional at best. Expect to spend more time supporting your department's VP in pointing the finger of blame at other departments rather than honest and open communication. - Company claims to have a remote work program, but some C-level executives aren't on board with it. If you try to take advantage of it, expect to be denied or shamed. - Lack of direction - changing requirements throughout projects, or a total lack of requirements, will make your life hell and your project plans a loose guestimate at best. - Budgets are a game designed to make you lose. - Review process is meaningless - you can get a great review and then be placed on a PIP the next week. - "Co-workers are like family" - yeah, if your family is dysfunctional and writes each other off.
