Pros

Selective Claim Payments: "Customized Claim Processing" – Enjoy the thrill of not knowing which medical claims will be paid! It’s like a lottery, but with your health and finances. If your claim isn’t paid, you get the exciting opportunity to invest time and money in hiring a lawyer and suing the company. In-House Nurse: "On-Site Medical Expertise" – Rest easy knowing there’s an in-house nurse who can conveniently handle all your medical concerns. Plus, they might creatively adjust diagnoses to save the company money. Who needs accurate medical records when you have cost efficiency? Self-Insured Flexibility: "Innovative Cost Management" – Experience the cutting-edge benefits of a self-insured plan where the company decides what’s best for you. Minor claims? No problem! They might go unpaid, saving you the trouble of dealing with unnecessary reimbursements. Who needs extra cash anyway? Financial Adventures: "Legal Engagement Opportunities" – Dive into the fascinating world of legal battles! If your medical claims aren’t paid, think of it as a chance to brush up on your legal knowledge and engage in a potentially lengthy and costly lawsuit against your employer. It’s practically an educational experience. Benefit Discrepancies: "Tailored Health Plans" – Enjoy a benefits plan that’s as unique as you are! With the potential for different benefits based on your job title, pay scale, or even gender, you’ll always have something to talk about (or not, since discussing benefits is as rare as discussing salaries). Confidential Healthcare Decisions: "Discreet Healthcare Management" – Rest assured that your healthcare decisions are managed with utmost discretion. So discreet, in fact, that you might never know why certain claims were denied or why different employees have different benefits. It’s all part of the mystery! Cost-Saving Health Measures: "Efficient Healthcare Solutions" – Marvel at the efficiency of having your medical needs reviewed and sometimes minimized by the company’s in-house staff. Delayed or denied treatments are just part of the innovative approach to cost savings. Top-Down Health Benefits: "Executive-Level Healthcare Plans" – Aspire to executive-level health benefits! The higher-ups might enjoy comprehensive plans while you get to appreciate the streamlined, minimalistic approach tailored for the average employee. It’s a hierarchical health benefit system at its finest.

Pros

Feel purpose in your day-to-day work contributions, working for a company that values its employees. Great core values. Excellent salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Cons

Some projects are slower moving than I prefer, but it is to ensure that the Company, as a whole, is on board with changes and that they are properly rolled out.
