Pros

Easy to build clientele, sharpens skills such as technical and customer service. Good to gain experience. Medical and dental insurance benefits. Commission opportunities. Good for starting out

Cons

Working every weekend, and most holidays. Breaks and sitting are discouraged. Working on feet 45 hours non stop a week.No 401k benefits. Vacation time does not roll over. Minimum wage unless you make commission. In order to make decent money you must be incredibly busy ,working at a grueling pace with no breaks. Kind of a dead end after several years. Sometimes working 10 hours on feet non stop

I'm driving between 3 salons, one is an hour away, without comp, one day a week. And at only 54$ the day. The rest of the week I'm behind the chair. Pay Emma and flows now bc of the pandemic. Im doing loads of extra work for nothing basically

Cons

It was very fast pase and you are forced to learn to work in an environment where there is no room to stop.
