Pros

Garaunteed hourly pay, vacation after 1 year, some benefits. They have medical insurance but it's not great. Usually a slower paced salon so good for starting out.

Cons

Stigma of "working in walmart", if you're not hitting commission pay is very low. Their solution is for you to try and get guests out of Walmart. Don't get retail commission unless you hit service commission. Upper management is all about numbers- some have never been stylists before. Don't match 401k. Insurance plan isn't good- vision isn't offered anymore.
