Pros

Great to build clientele and learn the trade while on the floor. Trial and error.

Cons

Hired As full time, don't get full time hours.lack integrity with the rehired. Little honesty in the salon., stylist take items from other, and don't return items or even own up to taking. Management inconsistent. Pay/commission is below poverty level. Customers are treated poorly. Stylist most of the time is working alone in salon doing hair, retail, and phone receptionist!

Pros

You always have a pay check even if you are not busy. Products are nice to work with.

Cons

Pay is minimum wage and impossible to improve. Not enough hours given to even keep two people on staff at all times. So lots of customer complaints about this. Im in a salon where everyone needs and wants full time, but cant get it. Customers think we are owned by walmart and should be dirt cheap prices . I never had these problems when i worked at a regis salon. Why in te values?

Pros

It was a pretty good place to work with. They provided training classes for improving your skills. Overall great place to work with. You can move around to other salons.

Cons

low hourly pay, no overtime pay unless it falls on a certain order. Hard to move up in the salon ranking.
