The new pay scale makes it hard for stylists to make much money for all their hard work, no paid holidays,too many nonsense things expected to keep track of rather than Focusing on guests and their hair, to much expected out of manager to be only one person

Have to work their schedule, Matrix color and perms only, pricing structure for haircuts is based on length of hair, conditioner is extra so if hair is long it can cost as much as $30 extra to apply a basic regular conditioner! Can only use their brand styling products on customers instead of all of it as sales tool, cannot get retail commission sold (which would be 5%) unless you make commission close to 1K per week, whether or not you work part time or full time. Was told I would not make any money on weekends :( Was told when hired commission or hourly, which ever was greater, asked more than once is there a minimum amount we have to make to get commission? I was told no, until I signed the *many* electronic documents they wanted me to sign
