Pros

Great place to build your clientele, especially if you are newly liscenced. Heavy traffic flow with lots of potential clients as we are located inside of Walmart. Lots of contests between stylists and between other smart styles salons with cash prizes or select free tools. Continued education to keep you with the up to date trends.

Cons

Lots of weekends. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are super busy. In our salon it's mandatory to work every other Sunday. We have a great manager who understands family time is also important so she does give weekends off.

Hourly pay is crap you just sale retail the creeds make constant mistakes they took insurance out my check wrong so I got a small check for four months they made mistakes constantly but demanded perfection
