      Pros

      guaranteed paycheck hourly or commission whichever's higher. made commisiion within 3 months of starting. They promote growth within easily become management or more. Great salon to start with they are highly involved in continuing education

      Cons

      Pay minimum wage nothing higher even with promotions, pay increases based on commission only so if salon is slow your pockets are too. Health insurance is pretty high for what we make.

      You can get experience. The prices have finally hit rock bottom. They are the cheapest. Beauty school cheap.

      Cons

      Walmart employees get higher discounts than the employees. Embarrassing to beauty industry. God forbid if you talk about money or raises. District Leader makes you feel like your job is threatened all the time. Not my vision. Work like a dog for minimal tips and compensation. Forget about family. Ridiculous scheduling.
