Pros

I joined Smartsheet nearly 3 years ago when we were at around 70 employees. Fast forward to today and we are about to crest over the 300 employee mark. Since the day I walked in the door here, I have had the opportunity to really excel my career. The executive team and management team as a whole genuinely cares about our perspectives and works to develop each employee on a daily basis. Since joining three years ago with only three years of experience under my belt, I have been promoted twice and had the opportunity to help create a new sales team, work with other departments and develop new hires. Work life balance is also something that the company really promotes and lives by. I have genuinely enjoyed my time here and would encourage anyone that is a hard worker looking for a new "home" to check out Smartsheet.

Cons

No cons to speak of. We are growing fast which requires an individual to respond well to change and be ready and willing to tackle new challenges.

Learned a lot in a short amount of time which really benefited my career growth. Worked with very smart and talented co workers who were very helpful. Opportunity to work very autonomously and own your own work and discover your highest potential. I am thankful for all the skills I learned on the job that I can take with me to future opportunities

Cons

Needed to take initiative with management and was not given enough feedback to ultimately stay with the company. Very competitive environment as they do tend to hire very sharp smart people so it might feel as you are falling behind if you are not super intelligent and used to being the super star

In my time at Smartsheet, I have been able to learn use a wide range of new technology. Not only was I able to try working with new things that I was completely unfamiliar with, but I was given the time and resources to master each new skill. While at Smartsheet, I have had the opportunity to evaluate my career options, and choose what direction I want to go. I've been able to set my own goals, and had the support to help me reach them. Smartsheet invests in its employees, and hard work gets noticed.

Cons

The company is growing very quickly, which has caused some growing pains. Not all changes happen quickly.
