Pros

Coworkers were awesome, they were fun to work with. Perks weren't bad, 50% off food. It would be a good summer job for highschoolers or college students but it would be difficult to balance the hours with schoolwork once school started again.

Cons

Incompetent managers and long hours. Always had to look busy so I don't get yelled at. Very poor training, I was trained by workers who had only been working for weeks. The managers did not bother training the new employees. For every 6 hours, you get 2 ten minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch.

Pros

Co-workers and shift leaders are (mostly) amazing - friendly, willing to cover your shifts if they can, and they're on your side when it comes to rude customers. Managers vary but are mostly great, as well. All of mine have worked with me to fit my schedule, and they're quite flexible with time off as long as you give them 2 weeks notice. The food is amazing. If this is your first job (and that's the only way I'd recommend this job), it's a great way to get into the food service industry and gain some perspective.

Cons

The pay is not nearly enough the work you do - I discovered that upon stepping up and covering others' work only lead to more work for me for the same wages ($8.50/hr). My store didn't have a tip jar, and the volume of guests certainly merited that. As if you aren't broke enough, you still have to pay for 50% of your meal. This would be fine, but I can't count how many times I've watched managers (with annual salaries AND benefits!) order food for their own families and comp the entire check.
