Smashing Ideas does an amazing job of hiring and fostering talented, interesting, and fun to work with team, I always looked forward to going to work Their internal projects are just as interesting as their client projects, some have even won awards When you read about corporate values, they can come off as a bit like advertising fluff, but the folks at SI really aim to live what they value. It's another way that their people first approach pays off in creating a fun and open work culture

Cons

This is endemic and normal for the industry, but the company relies too heavily on contract labor, which means that there are tiers of employees. When I left they were moving away from this but it was a bummer none-the-less

Smashing Ideas is a really magical place to be! Every day, I'm surrounded by some of the kindest, humblest, and most creative people I've had the chance to work with. The atmosphere is highly collaborative, and there's a lighthearted sense of curiosity in everything that happens here. I also appreciate how values-driven the company is. Everyone at SI cares passionately about making it a fun, diverse, and inclusive place to be.

Cons

Some of the usual challenges that accompany agency life (fast-moving projects, occasionally tough clients, etc.). Overall though, if you're flexible and open-minded, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
