Pros

Been around a good while and done some decent projects.

Cons

Have to be very right wing to be comfortable. Lots of layoffs and virtually no severance, even if you have been there 40 years.

Pros

I loved working in this HR team. Each of them is bright, caring and committed to pushing for greatness in him/herself, each other, their colleagues and the company as a whole. Although SSR boasts a longstanding history in the industry, they are looking and thinking ahead to stay competitive and profitable. Every company has areas ripe for improvement, but the decision-makers at SSR treat every employee as a human being, a whole person, first and foremost. They have a partnership culture and one that celebrates continual professional and leadership development. And, as a bonus, 98% of them are pleasant to be around!

Cons

To an certain extent, engineers are engineers are engineers. That said, they really aren't SO bad (I married one.). ;)

The people I worked with on site and in office and the size of the project provided for a great experience.

Cons

shortened period of time since it was only an internship.
