I have been at SmithBucklin for 7 plus years. The flexibility and the great team of people is the biggest reason that I continue to work here. We are an employee owned company which offers significant financial benefits in the form of sharing company profits through bonuses and company stock. Being employee owned also means there are no external owners of the company which are only focused on short term profits. Management cares about employees and has provides steady communication about the status of the company.

Cons

We are a client based company so sometimes the clients we serve can be challenging to work and may not value the work provided as much as management and employees.

Super friendly office, welcoming and helpful staff from associate all the way to VP. and CEO. The office is gorgeous with tons of collaboration spaces. great rooftop. Comprehensive onboarding and support as a new employee. Many businesses under Smithbucklin so opportunity to diversify knowledge and skills

Cons

Could do better on the technology platform front- would love to see more access to better, cheaper collaboration platforms. Takes time to get up to speed with corporate budgeting but generally lots of help.
