Pros

Looks good on resume. Professional development opportunities.

Cons

They promise to get you the things needed to complete your job but I never got the programs or equipment requested that I needed for my job. Little to no support from management. Toxic environment where most employees hate the museum’s director. Remote work was taken away suddenly forcing employees to drive into DC from hours away. Was laid off unexpectedly for no reason after requesting to continue working remotely.

Pros

When you are done at 8 hours you are done. Rarely work over time. Schedule is pretty much set unless have to come in at weird times for testing.

Cons

*MICROMANAGING *As soon as they could, they reduced our telework capabilities. * No appreciation for employees * They rather hire outside than within for higher GS levels * No support in furthering education *In fighting and pettiness amongst units
