Pros

Nice and friendly community to work with, helpful supervisors, good hours, ability to work with other Smithsonian Institutions was a plus

Cons

It’s the government so projects and approval move slow and there’s not much expectation to get things done quickly, generally working on the same project at one time

Pros

Easy, for retired guys, OT, in the federal gov

Cons

Can’t really say anything positive about my experience within this organization. This organization tries to hammer its own employees instead of focusing on what to do right. The gear sucks... training is once a year and that’s a terrible experience as well. Very stagnant career and is not for the people that’s looking to elevate without throwing your life away to overtime.
