Really convenient location, super nice ccolleagues, and super meaningful projects

Cons

it's a big org, so administration process can be long, but acceptable

Good work experience, pay is terrible

Pros

- experience - everyone tries their best but unfortunately working for the government getting raises or getting someone hired is extremely slow

Cons

- you won't get paid minimum wage because the smithsonian is tied to federal minimum wage, not DC minimum wage
