Pros

This is an American grown, yet internationally recognized and traded company. They manufacture the best tools and support the hard working members of our automotive industry; as well as their contribution to tools required for heavy duty equipment, marine aviation, military equipment and railroad companies, etc... Snap-On Tools are second to none.

Cons

Competition is part of any industry. We are a brand that carries generations of support. Yet, times change, industries change and incomes can become thinner and reallocated. There is growing competition from other distributors and sometimes we have to remind the customers why we were number one and why we remain number one. Quality is timeless, but sometimes the price of goods dissuades the buyer. We have to remind our customers that with tools of this particular trade: a penny saved could mean several hours or dollars lost tomorrow. Any mechanic worth his stuff understands, time is money and tools are like fertile soil to a farmer or a sterile bandage to a nurse.
