Pros

Remote work, and a lot of great people that genuinely want to build great software. Also Summer Fridays

Cons

Engineering teams are understaffed and overworked. Yearly raises and promotions have gotten lower despite increased responsibilities and excellent performance reviews. They’ll encourage you to get promoted so they get more responsibilities out of you, but you’ll be waiting a lot longer than you expect before you actually receive it no matter how much you’ve accomplished.

Beware of bait and switch

work from home insurance decent pay

Cons

beware of management reviews, one lead will say one thing another will say something totally different causing low efficiency numbers and eventual firing. No one is on the same page and they will make promises they never follow up on,
