Pros

the engineering team consists of many bright people which gives an employee to learn a lot. as this is still a relatively small company, everyone can make an impact. work culture is great and people treat each other with respect. employees also her enough freedom to have a great work-life balance. management typically reacts very well to negative feedback.

Cons

the office is open space and often loud which makes it sometimes hard to concentrate during work. the company does not pay into the 401(k)

Pros

Solid pay and healthcare benefits

Cons

Leadership treats employees as expendable and there seems to be a disconnect between leadership's perception of employee value and the reality of attrition. Work-life balance is negatively impacted with changes to the “unlimited PTO” policy that requires approval for leave more than 20 days, coupled with a reduction in company holidays this year, and expectations to work and respond to emails/Slack at all times. The company culture prioritizes individual success over team collaboration and optics over product outcomes, hindering collective goal achievement and knowledge sharing across departments. There is a concerning pattern where behaviors inconsistent with a respectful workplace are tolerated, and in some cases, individuals exhibiting these behaviors are promoted into leadership roles, negatively impacting morale. The lack of a clear, consistent long-term vision and frequently shifting priorities are creating an environment of intense pressure and uncertainty, which is impacting psychological safety and productivity. The company's performance relative to competitors is suffering due to a perceived lack of strategic focus and clear direction from leadership.
