      Waste of Time

      Pros

      Company sells itself, a lot of folks you do outreach to will be willing to connect because they heard of Snowflake. Free lunch and snacks was definitely awesome and the people you work with are likely cool.

      Cons

      You will love the first couple months or so but that will quickly fade away. Sdr's RARELY get promoted, and a lot of people leave and get AE jobs elsewhere or start over as an SDR at another company that is actually willing to promote their SDR's. Most of the managers are amazing but Directors are out of touch with the org.

      High salary compare to peers Gym, food, stocks Some of the tech used is nice and state of the art

      Cons

      Management is really bad and at times racist, they work in clans to say the least. Management is clueless and always talks about how we defeat Databricks Politics Politics and Politics, no actual work being done in Eng org.

      - great product & founding team - relatively short sales cycle depending on the type of accounts - customer-first culture

      Cons

      - Politics and bad middle management - Success depends on your territory - low base salary - not as competitive as other players when it comes to the data science / ML workload
