I would not recommend the velocity SMB teams/ sales development, the leadership isn't very friendly and the environment is toxic

Everything is on cloud. Good to play big 3 clouds. Working experience is helpful since more and more people are adopting Snowflake.

Cons

Not as popular as open source peers. Expertise built here is not transferable like Spark (Databricks)

- Snowflake is the best product I have ever sold. - There is a huge partner network (ISV and SI) that surrounds the data cloud - they provide lots of co-selling opportunities. - Lots of technical resources to help co-sell (Industry principals, SEs, FTCO's, SMUs, etc.)

Cons

- Sales org is split into "Corporate" and Enterprise theatres: The Corporate org is run very very lean and many AEs feel over worked and under paid (compared the industry) - Leadership on the corporate team is going through a big learning curve: tough to find where to incentivize the reps properly for this specific TAM
