Toxic Culture

Business Outlook

Pros

Decent compensation and free breakfast and lunch

Cons

The company is currently struggling with a severe lack of competent leadership, particularly within mid-management. Many managers are inexperienced and incompetent, and the absence of well-established HR processes allows them to micromanage and mistreat employees. As a result, there’s a toxic work environment. Work-life balance is non-existent, and employees are often expected to work weekends. One of the most troubling trends is that good employees either leave quickly or are forced out, contributing to an overall decline in morale and productivity. Although the new CEO is doing their best to drive innovation, product management is lacking clear direction and effective leadership. Marketing lacks competent leadership. It has experienced high turnover and lacks the stability needed to execute a consistent vision.

Pros

Flexible work schedule, good benefits.

Cons

High turnover with limited backfill. Work load has increased but the raises (if any) have decreased. Culture has changed in the last few years and not for the better.
