Pros

Fast growing company, you have to be ready to roll with the punches. It's either sink or swim, but you will learn so much! Great benefits, catered lunches. Good senior management for the most part.

Cons

Long hours, but everyone is working hard to achieve a common goal.

Pros

Everyone has an opportunity to make a difference and advance in their career. It is a rare breed of company where customer and employee feedback is encouraged and acted upon. CEO literally has his company available to customers and employees for real time feedback. Tens of thousands of passionate members are a reflection of how the company's products and practices impact their daily lives. Working here does make a difference in people's lives. This in addition to free healthcare, lunch, employee events and twice weekly company feedback meetings.

Cons

Has all the challenges of a high growth company (limited resources, prioritization challenges )but not anything that isn't addressed by Executive team if it becomes a problem.

Pros

The benefits are unreal. Best office space, great food perks, education reimbursement, tuition payoff to come, and subsidized gym membership. Your peers you work with are pretty motivating and great to be around. The talent is there and you can gain a lot of knowledge by sitting down and talking with them. The work environment is pretty relaxed for almost all the teams. The feedback you get from SoFi members is a true reward.

Cons

Product development could be improved. There are a ton restraints when trying to work with a team to develop something great (getting kicked out of hipchat rooms, low transparency, no great motivational meetings, Etc.) . Way below average pay for a San Francisco Unicorn.
