Worst Leadership

Business Outlook

Pros

The product and customer base is pretty solid.

Cons

Socure support's a bullying, fear environment over a collaborative winning spirit. This starts from the top and Johnny Ayers is the worst CEO by far that I have worked with. Besides being a very poor leader (it's a real stretch to call him that) he hasn't got a strategic bone in his body - and staff turnover is rampant, much of this is a direct result of him being the CEO.

Sublime and Ridiculous

Pros

- Product works well, sometimes. - fully remote, you can kinda do what you want and skate by. Once, someone was obviously watching golf on a company call and everyone heard, very funny. - The compensation is decent. Benefits got worse over time, but were still on par with industry.

Cons

- C-Suite and management overpromise and underdeliver. Constant fires and high turnover. - CEO is unprofessional, annoying, and over-demanding - Very poor communication within teams and across teams. High turnover. No one knows what to do, takes forever to get work done. - Several rounds of layoffs across different teams, including a few not reported in media.
