      Pros

      Remote work is a good thing. Benefits are decent, not among the best in the market but decent enough.

      Cons

      Leadership is the biggest challenge. The proposed headcount was 500 by 2022 and 1,000 by 2023. They entered 2023 with 400 employees. This basically means that someone was 60% off with their forecasts. Thr bottom line is that this is a data science company that cannot do math.

      Pros

      Salary range is high due to the amount of pre-requisites to work here. Health, wellness benefits are good. Socure employs some of the the best and brightest I’ve ever had the pleasure of working alongside. It’s a great product.

      Cons

      The CMO quit like 8 months ago and they haven’t hired a replacement yet. Communication somehow is non-existent even though each staffer’s calendar is booked solid with minimum 5 hours worth of calls each day. I think the company has done 3-4 rounds of RIF and everyone who’s survived work loads have at least quadrupled.

      Pros

      Work from home, focused on work rather than ideology, high salary, good benefits.

      Cons

      Over hiring, extravagant and reckless spending, few process protocols, zero concern for how bad decisions affect employees' lives. I left an unexciting (but stable, albeit not nearly as high-paying) job to work at Socure, only to be laid off with the other 23% of hapless employees beguiled by upper management's heady tales of Socure's bright future. Severance packages are disappointing (one month's salary), and upper management can't be trusted to tell the truth about anything, it would seem. I should've known better...heed my warning and don't make the same mistake!
