Pros

There are a lot of capable people at socure at various levels within the company. The benefits are competitive and the pay is very good compared to big tech. Additionally, Socure is fully remote so people can work from any where.

Cons

There is a severe lack of structure in terms of organizationally how to scale and how to hire the right people. There isn't a well defined hiring system to bring in talent with the same bar. Some teams have really high bars and some have really low bars. Additionally, Higher level roles have a very low bar of entry. There are many high level roles filled by people with very limited experience. This creates vacuums in leadership in key product areas and technical direction. Because of this, there is an enormous amount of tech debt and logistical incompetency.

Pros

Competitive pay. Great people. Great product.

Cons

Training needs to be more interactive. If you learn by watching hour long videos, then you’ll be ok.
