      Good Benefits, Learning, Package | No Work Life Balance | Speaking in Tamil is a Sin

      Pros

      - Decent Pay in Chennai Region - Skilled friendly co workers whom we can learn a lot from. - Mac and Iphone as Standard - Fully Remote - WFH Allowances and benefits which help in upskilling ourselves - Startup Culture - ESOPs since company expected to go IPO soon

      Cons

      - No Work Life Balance - Out of the blue layoffs happened recently in US when organization was growing rapidly - Conversing in Tamil with people who can understand Tamil is considered a sin by Chennai Management. Conversing in English when some individual is unable to understand english in a meeting is fine. But I don't understand the logic of Conversing in tamil to people who know tamil.

      Cool technology and product with promise. Competitive comp.

      Cons

      Lack of leadership and direction. During our off-site in March, we were told by investors we were breathing "rarefied air" and by the CEO that we were establishing "generational wealth" only for layoffs to hit three months later. Things don't change that drastically without signs. What's worse is I don't think the C-suite saw it coming. And if they did, shame on them. Also, there's seemingly no desire to create an inclusive community or change the culture. If you're looking for a supportive environment where you feel valued for your work, don't expect it here.

      Good upside with awesome equity packages

      Cons

      Founder leads a very negative culture of fear while diminishing others. Leadership lacks transparency and true direction for future of company. There is no work life balance at this company
