Hello! We love seeing our people grow and provide them with a lot of opportunities for professional development, including switching to different projects. We have our PeEx platform that helps our associates get rewarded for their contributions. We also offer a competitive salary in the respective market and encourage open conversation with our managers about pay.

Pros

Work from home. Frequent performance reviews with raises, at least on my level. A pretty flexible working schedule.

Cons

It's my first IT company. I can't compare with other companies cause I know almost nothing about them. As far as I know there is a multitude of teams and projects inside the company and the working conditions differ greatly between them.

Pros

If you're lucky, you can get an easy project and work 20-25 hours a week. If you want, you can skip all other activities (mentor ships, surveys, and other stuff)

Cons

Super hard to get a decent salary review. Most likely, you will be a contractor, don't expect customers to value your work as much as they value work done by FTEs. You can quickly get a stupid manager, who came from a nontech and non-IT background, and that person can greatly poison your life. Sometimes, seniors are forced to supervise middle developers who are in fact trainees.

Hello! Thanks for taking the time to provide this review. At SoftServe we are dedicated to providing various opportunities for our associates to grow professionally and improve their skills, which gives the opportunity for more ambitious projects and increasing compensation. Underworking and ignoring mentorship and educational opportunities is a choice, but of course it will not result in helping anyone to grow personally or professionally. We created the PeEx program to help manage workload and facilitate our associates' development and growth, including compensation. SoftServe provides clear guidelines about the criteria for salary increases. We believe in open communication and transparency, so we offer competitive compensation and encourage open conversations about pay with your manager.
