Pros

That`s the best company I worked with. It is very result-oriented and focused, free of political correctness and corporate formalities that are usually used to hide a lack of competency and willingness for work. Ukrainian colleagues are flawless professionals. Bulgarian colleagues are very bright, creative, openminded, friendly and active, unlike some other IT companies. The company has an effective hiring process, including a personality test, that helps to build teams of not only good professionals but also great people. SoftServe provides clear promotion criteria.

Cons

Working with distributed teams is inevitable. The company doesn`t have lavish budgets for business trips, so it is rather lean (for some people that is a benefit as well).

Pros

Great atmosphere for development, a lot of initiatives where people can participate and interesting projects. In general very good place to work.

Cons

Constant growth results in a mess in internal processes. Over complicated and formalized promotion process that barely resonates to your actual performance or knowledge that can be applied on practice. Management style and internal culture drastically depends on department. Compensation approach mostly depends on personal agreements and often doesn't reflect person actual competence and experience level.
