Don't believe the hype

Pros

new campus, catered meals, neat office.

Cons

departments are separated, non-competitive pay, no annual bonus, have to pay for parking. Management is toxic. Nepotism runs rampant. If you aren't part of the clique you'll get cut from the team. Turnover is very high and roles and positions can easily be replaced. Revolving door syndrome. Stay away. No such thing as "hard work pays off" at Softchoice.

Pros

- none if you're in sales. Get ready to be in a basement and be replaceable. - middleman syndrome. We weren't really necessary nor affordable for companies to use us. Could easily be replaced by a direct buy website.

Cons

- 6 month training. Which they then can terminate you for no reason - training was ridiculous - low paying compared to other sales jobs - favouritism - even the interview process was horrible. Met with the worst HR lady ever. Gives HR that well earned horrible reputation they're known for. Protecting company interests and not you. Not too much humanity in that.

Pros

Great Benefits, all of the product specialists, Presale Solution Architects, and resources are great. For the most part you can reach out to your resources and get some assistance either right away or schedule some time to get that help. Best if you work in a larger market with a local manager. Its difficult to be in or support a remote locations unless you do well with being completely alone and resources and technical support will be 99% remote. Its a great place to be if you want to get into Sales in general, or want to see what IT Sales is like as well. You have the potiential to build a great network.

Cons

If you are looking for a company that you can advance into management you must be willing to move. There is a lot of products and services offered and the expectations of knowing it all is unrealistic.
