Pros

Softchoice is an amazing organization that gives people the chance to take on responsibilities way before they would ever get in a bigger company. The money in any one job can be low compared to other companies but if you consider the promotions and how fast they happen you will do better in the long run at this company.

Cons

If you don't like change this is not the place for you. You have to be a performer to belong in this company - if you are looking for someplace to park yourself and take home a paycheck this one is not it.

Pros

Location, Office space are very nice. They use this as a hiring incentive..

Cons

Direct manager had no idea how to manage a IT department. No technical knowledge and very bad management skills. Like to play favorites with certain people. Pay was low. They talk about work life balance but this applies only to your life at Softchoice could care less if you had a family and commitments outside of work.

Pros

Take your dog to work - Downtown location Softchoice Cares Events Beer cart Friday - 1x month Sales teams are like family

Cons

Promote a culture that isn't actually true; claim to be all about their people but will let them go/cut them without a second thought Benefits were fabulous; until a year or so ago, they were cut and presented to employees in a fashion as if in their best interest. They've made it more expensive to get medications, more difficult to obtain reimbursements and just plain cut other awesome benefits that made them stand out for example, the "green commute" incentive Currently in a wage & bonus freeze however, the CEO and SLT still receive enormous salaries Internal resources are so over worked its difficult for sales cycle to close in a timely fashion unless you're close with someone in the area you need assistnace with. Not enough training provided to sales to focus on areas of the business the SLT want to see grow Very overworked for minimal compensation
