Pros

Softworld provides a level playing field for all recruiters and sales professionals to achieve their maximum success. Unlike many other companies in the industry, there is room for many recruiting and sales styles at Softworld. Your success is truly what matters. It is a growing company, with new opportunities presented OFTEN for those who are career-driven and want to make their mark here.

Cons

Hard to think of any to be honest. Some of the requirements you will see can be very challenging but that's what makes each day exciting, and you will be rewarded for your efforts.

Pros

I've been with Softworld for several years as a Technical Recruiter, and while we aren’t perfect, I truly value my experience here. It’s disheartening to read recent negative reviews, and I want to emphasize that WE ARE A GREAT PLACE TO WORK. Recruiting and sales can be challenging, but if you put in the effort, the rewards are substantial. My time in the Waltham office has been free of toxicity. While some colleagues enjoy going out for drinks after work, I’ve never felt pressured to join; my family always comes first. Management has consistently provided me with support, encouragement, and all the resources I need to thrive. Our Recruiting leader works tirelessly and genuinely cares about both the recruiters and the company. Whenever I encounter challenges, reaching out for help is easy and encouraged. Though we face growing pains and changes, my coworkers and I continue to excel together. I sincerely believe that Senior Management has our best interests at heart and fosters a healthy work-life balance. Those who are unhappy may not have found the best approach to work smart and maintain that balance, and it’s probably for the best that they’ve moved on. In closing, I take pride in being part of a team that values hard work, supports one another, and creates an environment where we can all succeed. Here’s to ongoing growth and success at Softworld!

Cons

As our team becomes increasingly remote, building relationships has become more challenging. Therefore, having more in-person meetings would be advantageous.

Thank you for being so thoughtful, as well as your honesty in relaying your experience at Softworld. The fact that you take such pride in both the place and performance of your work demonstrates how obviously valuable you are to the company. You're 100% right on the importance of clear/accessible communication, and the challenges associated with remote work. As we grow ever more in the coming year, that will be a constant challenge, but we're continually looking for ways to ensure connectivity and a greater sense of community. As to your comment on being disheartened by the few bad reviews on this website - I appreciate what you're saying, but I'd advise you not to sweat it. We have a demanding culture, high expectations, constant training, and a high sense of urgency. Although you and I (and many others) cherish that, and understand the rewards that accompany thriving within it... its not for everybody, and we're well aware that some folks will take their opportunities to express their displeasure. We're certainly not perfect, will always learn from any opinions (however negative) that are expressed in good faith, and everyone moves forward with what's best for them. Thank you again - if you have anything you'd like to add, I can always be reached anytime at 781-373-8452.l

Pros

This job does require hard work and if you do that you will be handsomely compensated for it. The recent comments about a toxic environment are absolute hog wash. They are a personal attack and are totally unfounded. If being held accountable for your actions or lack thereof is micro management then I guess we are micro managed. I have personally seen upper management go out of their way to help people through some very difficult personal situations. Review a company or manager fairly and leave the personal attacks out

Cons

There does need to be more accountability for sales

I don't know who you are, but I'm sure you know who I am, so you're doubtlessly unsurprised by how much I love the in-context use of the term "hog wash." Thank you for sharing your thoughts - anything to add, I can be reached at 781-373-8452. But you probably knew that.
