Hi there - thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback! I'm thrilled to hear you felt supported and checked up on while working with us. As for our benefit offerings, you'll find most contracting firms follow the model of paying a higher rate of pay for time worked on a project rather than provide all the benefits you'd typically find as a full-time employee. However, Softworld does offer a Staff Consulting option for longer assignments that can provide a full benefits package with PTO, paid holidays, multiple healthcare options, 401k and variety of other benefits found in traditional “permanent” positions. We provide multiple employment options so we can better meeting the individual needs of each consultant we partner with. We sincerely apologize if this was not made clear during your interview and onboarding process. We would welcome the chance to review these with you before your next consultant engagement with us. If you have any questions as to why that is or want to talk about your specific situation a bit more, please don't hesitate to reach out to your Recruiting contact or the Consultant Care team. We would love to talk about how to make your experience better.

Pros

- Contractor support was great. Any issues or concerns were dealt with quickly and they were proactive about reaching out. - Other team members I worked with were skilled and knowledgeable. Work was smooth and we were often ahead of schedule. - Company I worked with through them had high praise for Softworld's work and led to me getting converted to a full time position there - W2 option along with contract so you can get paid time off, benefits, etc. - Work/life balance was great. Low stress environment compared to my other experience. This could be more of an effect from the company we worked with instead of Softworld themselves but they seemed to share a lot of values around employee happiness and burnout avoidance.

Cons

- Contract company so there is a little bit less stability/security there by nature

Thank you very much for your candid feedback. While I'm glad for your comments regarding your coworkers, I'm sorry for the frustrations that you experienced. I'm not certain, but I'm assuming that you're referring to being a recruiter in your critique regarding job orders "not [being] given out fairly." Presuming that assumption's right, I actually agree with you, in a way - we don't always allocate job orders "fairly" in a traditional sense. Instead, our approach aims to match up business opportunities with the recruiter(s) in the best position to fill them. Expertise, depth of network, work ethic, client knowledge and a growth mindset all factor into the real-time business decisions that we make in allocating the thousands of requirements we work on every year. Every recruiter has an equal opportunity to prove themselves and grow in their profession; we also have business rules in place allowing any recruiter the freedom to put in extra effort on any job order within the company. If you want to be the best, you have an equal opportunity to earn it at Softworld. But our management philosophy and business operations are centered on the tenet that our best recruiters own our best business. I certainly understand that our model isn't for everybody, and I'm sorry you felt it wasn't for you. I wish you all the best at your next professional stop. If there are any other comments you'd like to share or suggestions for how we can improve, please feel free to reach me directly at 781-373-8452. Thanks again for your candor.
