      Pros

      Flexibility to work from home, time off. There really isn't anything else that's positive. Good luck to whomever gets sucked up into this mess.

      Cons

      Management doesn't listen to reason and allows unprofessional behavior. Workers go to work drunk, harass other employees and leave early. No clear direction. No desire to work as a team.

      Good benefits and career opportunities with in Solar Turbines and the training program for employees is very good

      There is a alot of travel involved in the work we carry out for Solar Turbines throughout Europe and further a field

      Pros

      It's stable employment...until CA decides they pollute the atmosphere too much.

      Cons

      The cost of living in San Diego is spiraling upward. The wage growth is nowhere near adequate and the top performers get the same raise as the bottom performers. Advancement? Maybe...if you're "in" with the right people. So many postings are just for show...that is of course if they even bother to post an opening. So many times the only notice people get they aren't being considered for a position is when you show up to find out interviews are going on. The most unprofessional internal hiring processes I have ever been exposed to.
